The EB-4 Visa Application Process in Fort Lauderdale

An EB-4 visa is available for religious workers such as pastors, ministers, and rabbis who have received a compensated, full-time position relating to religious work. You can also qualify as a religious worker if you prove that for a minimum duration of 2 years you are a member of a known religious group that has a non-profit religious organization, or an organization affiliated with the religious group in the United States for which you can work. If you have been working in the United States lawfully as a religious worker after the age of 14 for 2 consecutive years you can also qualify for an EB-4 visa.

Others that can qualify for an EB-4 visa are U.S. government employees working overseas, members of Armed Forces, international broadcasters, foreign medical graduates, and international organization employees. A labor certification is not required, but your employer must file an I-360 form, a petition to get special immigrant worker classification and lawful permanent residence in the United States. You may also file an I-360 form by self-petitioning. The fee to file an I-360 form is $405. Your spouse and any unmarried children that you may have that are under the age of 21 may also obtain a green card along with you. Only 10,000 EB-4 visas are available each year, and only 5,000 are held for non-clergy religious workers.
